This is a cartoon we created recently for our lovely client who has had her protected over-arching lease bought by the Co-Op, who have gone on to evict her from her shop of ten years. They are not interested in discussion and just want her competition (and that of the Latina Deli next door) to be gone.
Seven Cellars has been fighting this eviction from the shop in Brighton's Seven Dials for a few years, but now has to be out by November - the worst time of year for a wine merchant. With much local support, including from MPs and an article in the Guardian, she keeps fighting, so we were delighted that she asked us to help her raise awareness.
With 20,000 impressions in the first 3 hours it was live on Instagram, we were proud to have delivered what she needed so quickly.You can follow the fight on socials and Google to see how long this has been going on...
