Summary
I’ve been around stages and sound desks since I was 16.
Starting out as a trumpet player before moving into bands, theatres, cruise ships and eventually building my own business, Soundcheck Audio Visual.
With 30+ years in the game, I’ve learned that great events don’t just need good sound, they need someone who understands the chaos behind the curtain.
I’m not your typical sound engineer. I’ve been the one on stage, I’ve been the one running the show and I’ve been the one called in last-minute to rescue events when everything was
falling apart.
That mix of lived experience means I can spot problems before they happen and create solutions others wouldn’t think of.
Along the way, I’ve mixed for productions like Dolly Parton’s *9 to 5*, *The Buddy Holly Story* and worked alongside the 2020 Britain’s Got Talent winner Jon Courtenay.
More recently, I’ve delivered AV for brands like Schroders, BBC, The Print Show, NHS and multiple UK tours and conferences.
Whether it’s 200 people in a breakout session or thousands at a trade show, I make sure the experience is seamless.
Clients describe me as easy to work with, reliable and someone who just gets it.
That’s why I’ve earned three Customer Service awards since 2023.
My secret is listening properly, keeping things simple and treating every project like it matters.
Because it DOES.
Outside of AV, I’ve project-managed large-scale international events, like flying 125 delegates from 15 countries into Dubai for a networking conference.
Logistics, contracts, entertainment, AV, I handled the lot.
And yes, it all worked.
