Based in Sevenoaks, I have spent over 30 years delivering information and cyber security services to organisations in the City of London and beyond. My experience spans multiple sectors, including investment banking, insurance, manufacturing, and professional services.
Starting my career in technology, I progressed to Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), where I led global security transformation programmes and advised organisations on how to protect themselves against current and evolving cyber threats.
I am passionate about information and cyber security, and about ensuring organisations are prepared when—not if—a security incident occurs.
I founded thatcisoguy to provide cost-effective fractional and Virtual CISO (vCISO) services to SMEs. These organisations face the same cyber threats as larger enterprises but often lack the budget for full-time, senior security leadership. My goal is to bridge that gap by delivering practical, strategic, and scalable security expertise.
